Floorcloths ideally can be used in any non-carpeted area of the house with great effect. Typical areas are under the dining table, in the living room or family room, under the coffee table, on the kitchen floor, near the sink, yoga room, sunroom, entry foyer, hallway, children's room and nurseries, powder room or in front of the fireplace. In public places like library, museum, Doctor's office, restaurant floorcloths are are ideal. Many floor cloths have been used even as wall hangings. Unlike pile rugs and carpets, a floorcloth does not collect dust or dust mites. Moreover, any dust on the floorcloth can be cleaned with the minimum of effort.
